We believe that all children deserve the chance to fully engage their bodies, hearts and minds with nature, and with one another, so that they return home tired, happy, and fully convinced that the world is a magical place worth tending with love. We also believe that second language exposure promotes a foundation of humility, empathy and curiosity upon which a life of exploration, true learning, and global connections can be built.  And finally, we believe that the whole family should be included in the growth and nurturing of the young child.

 -Using stories, songs and celebrations from both the English and Spanish speaking worlds

 -Doing our best to create a diverse student body through outreach and scholarships

 -Regular family classes in parenting, gardening, cooking and nutrition, and other health-promoting activities

 -Connection to a wider range of resources when needed
