The space

We are located on 1.7 lively acres in Milwaukie. Children will have supervised access to forest, meadow, wetland and stream, while also enjoying a firepit and covered space for cold and rainy days. We have a thriving garden, lots of medicinal plants throughout the property, outdoor kitchen, and nature-based play structures. We also have a small flock of friendly chickens and ducks, two cats, and a sweet old dog named Tiger. (Address at the bottom of this page)

Except for bathroom breaks and exceptionally challenging weather days, we will spend all of our time outside. That said, we have an accessible indoor bathroom, and a heated classroom to be used in cases of “emergency,” like high winds or extreme cold. We will spend our days alternating between a cozy fenced-in area for focused projects, and the forest, wetland and creek for magical adventures. This property is a work in progress, a never-ending labor of love, and we are so excited for the children to leave their imprint upon its unfoldment.
